i’m alex mamay – ui/ux motion designer and director. i design product behaviors: micro-interactions, transitions, feedback states, and motion systems that make software feel fast, clear, and alive.
what do you offer?
▼
ui/ux motion design from idea to ship: concept → prototypes (figma, lottie, rive) → production-ready specs → tokens → handoff → qa.
what do you actually make?
▼
in-product animations, empty/error/success states, component behaviors, scroll + page transitions, loading + skeletons, icon motion, device demos, and lightweight promo cutdowns tied to the product.
why add motion to ui?
▼
motion reduces cognitive load, guides attention, explains state changes, and builds brand feel — when done right: fast, purposeful, accessible, and consistent.
how long does it take?
▼
small wins: 2–5 days (one component, clear brief). flows/systems: 1–4 weeks (multi-screen journeys, tokens, docs). scope drives timeline – we agree on milestones up front.
what’s the process?
▼
align on goals → define principles + constraints (platform, perf, a11y) → rapid prototypes → iterate with usage data → document timings/easings/specs → deliver assets + tokens → qa in build.
how do revisions work?
▼
we iterate where it matters: prototype stage. once specs lock, revisions cover accuracy/bugs — not new scope. clear guardrails, clean outcomes.
do you handle sound/vo?
▼
for product work, sound is optional. when needed, i source vo and craft minimal sfx that support clarity without slowing the ui.
how do we start?
